How to easily add images to application/project title

hi all -

I need to customize the application and project titles. So far I just found "Administration->Settings->Application title" and for projects "Settings->Name" to change the text in the header of each html page. What I need is the possibility to add images, a sub-title, etc. So basically I would like to provide my own html-template for the header. Is this possible?
