Migration from Mantis, values in custom field list needs to be re-set

When we tried to use migration_from_mantis.rake script custom fields are also migrated. Everything looks OK and when I open a issue all custom field has the correct value. However when I try to do an update, all custom fields of type list is not selected and I need to re-set the value again.
Everything looks correct in mysql as well. Has anybody else encountered this issue? I have tried to migrate from mantis 1.9 to redmine 2.2.0. Anybody has any ideas?
