Establish RedMine for issue repository across different organizations

Hello,

I am new to RedMine. I have a task to setup a web server where issues can be discussed among different teams from different geographical locations. I have some concerns on how to go about it.
1. Is it possible to create such a web server where you can have project members from different organizations?
2. If yes for point 1., is getting access to such a server time consuming for everyone?
3. An additional main concern is security. Issues discussed in such a scenario have to be secured and only accessible to project members. Is it feasible?

2. time consuming... why is going to be time consuming accessing a server?
3. yes, if you only give access to projects members to see the project
