Moving from V1.3.2 sqlite to 2.4.2 mysql

I am attempting to move our redmine database from a Ubuntu 12.04 server, Redmine V1.3.2, sqlite3 database to a new Ubuntu 14.04 server with Readmine V2.4.2 and a mysql database.
Readmine is up and running on the new server with an empty default database.
How do I import my existed V1.3.2 sqlite3 database into the new V2.4.2 mysql database? So far my attempts from the help here and various other sources have failed.
