/etc/passwd Authentication

Hello all,

I am trying to figure out a way to allow everyone that logs into my server to have the same password when they log into Redmine. This would be a limited set, but the idea is to lower the number of passwords that the person has to reset etc. I am using a CentOS server and want to have /etc/passwd be used as the authentication of the user. Is this possible?
