Rocket Chat within Redmine

We use Redmine as a help desk. We have hosted it ourselves using a cloud provider.
We would like to host Rocket Chat ourselves and then allow the users of Redmine to chat with help desk agents within the logged Redmine instance.
Similarly, we would be hosting Jitsi ourselves and integrate it with Rocket Chat for screen sharing. Needless to say, we may look into LDAP as a user directory.
Has anyone tried setting up like this? I would love to hear if this is workable or not.
This may need SSO and I'm not sure.
