Getting in contact with synology package developer.

Added by Martin Neuß over 3 years ago

Hi,

i ´ve installed redmine on my synology nas (ds920+) a few days ago. it is up and running and i ´m on my way to get comfortable with it.

i have a few questions which i will pose on the forum also, but perhaps it is better to get into contact with the developer of the synology package itself.

so if anybody knows who developed the package it would be nice if a contact can be established.

with best regards

martin

Hi,
we use Redmine also on a Synology NAS, but we have installed Docker (provided by Synology Packet Centre) and installed this Docker: https://github.com/sameersbn/docker-redmine because it works easy and you early get the newest version...

Hi,

i´m also using the standard redmine package issued by synology. but that´s not the most recent version as #3.4.13 is used. the most recent version is 4.2.x. furthermore there seem to be some configuration inconsistencies.

i would think that https is configured as default and that the certificates of dsm are used.
dns-resolve seems to have problems as smtp server names are not resolved.

meanwhile i found other problems.

i issued a request to synology support and got a respnse after half a day. they had at least a suggestion for the https configuration. and they offered to forward my requests to their development department.

so i hope some things will get better
