Redmine install on windows 10 at home but access it from an outside network
I am a new user and new to Redmine and I am thinking about installing Redmine on windows home pc and set it up as a Project management system instead of a ticketing system. I think I can make the task bit easier by using Bitnami. https://bitnami.com/stack/redmine. I am asking here if this a correct way to do it or if bitnami is not a good idea.
Once the install is successful then I can set up Redmine to be a project management system but it will be only available to me at localhost and not outside.
I can use dynu.com for dynamic DNS solutions so I can access Redmine from anywhere. see I need a free and reliable home solution for Project Management. the part I am not sure about is once Redmine is installed the access link will be pointed to localhost 172.0 how do I switch it to point to my Dynamic DSN subdomain?
Can someone please advise
Thank you very much

This is the job of your router, where the DynDNS is also set up.
There a port (e.g. 443) is set up on an internal IP including port (e.g. 184.108.40.206:3000).
Now configure the firewall accordingly ... and it works.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are opening your local network into the Internet - so this is also vulnerable!
