Issue Assignment

Hi all,

We've just deployed Redmine at Ledwood Technology Ltd (www.irisradar.com), migrating from Trac in the process, but i have a few questions.

In Trac a user could assign a ticket to someone where it would show up with their name, but the status was still new/unaccepted. Users could also accept tickets in which case the status would automatically change to assigned, accepted and 'in progress'.

In Redmine, however, it seems any user can 'assign' any other user to an issue but there's no way to 'accept' an issue - you can only manually go and change the status - we'd really like an 'accept' button - so if the issue is new and unassigned it auto changes to assigned under the user which was logged in at the time.
