Redmine as a CMS

Is there a plugin which can be used to reorder redmine menues and change the content for main page.
I would like to have such a plugin (if I find some time I will invest into making one) so that I don't have to maintain a separate CMS for my static content. In it's simplest possible form it can show a page which is based on the theme of redmine, but an advanced version can use its own css and images and give a link back to redmine.
This is inspired from http://cloudmade.com/, their main page is not powered by redmine (apparently) and if you go to developers/get API key, you will see that it's powered by redmine
