Description

Currently, Redmine supports mentioning individual users in comments using the User First Name User Last Name syntax, which is very useful for notifying specific people. However, it is not possible to mention a group (e.g., @dev-team or inspire tech) the same way.

Feature request:
Add the ability to mention Redmine groups in comments using `@groupname` syntax.

Expected behavior:
- When a group is mentioned, all members of that group should receive a notification (email or Redmine notification).
- The mention should behave similarly to user mentions, and ideally support autocomplete in the comment editor.

Use case:
In teams or projects with rotating responsibilities or shared ownership, it is more efficient to notify a group rather than selecting individuals manually. This improves collaboration and avoids missing important updates.

Benefits:
- Better collaboration
- More efficient workflows
- Easier onboarding and responsibility delegation within teams

Thank you for considering this enhancement.
