Timezones

How should I configure redmine to correctly handle timezones so that it can be located on a server in the US, but support users in multiple different time zones ?

I was under the impression redmine already handles timezones correctly, e.g. your post is shown as being posted on "2010-02-28 15:18" (hover over the some time ago to see that), this is for CET.
