Redmine and Subversion Trouble (bitnami or turnkey)

Added by Edward Meshuris about 14 years ago

Hello everyone,
I am sure that this forum has discussions on subversion and redmine integration, none however actually help me.
I have tried to setup up a redmine using bitnami(server 2003) as well as a turnkey appliance(xubuntu).
I neither know ruby or linux, so its quite tough for me to get around the application source.

Our setup:
Turnkey appliance VM: (Xubuntu, redmine, mysql etc)
SVN server: server 2003

I keep getting this error:
The entry or revision was not found in the repository.

This is a known error with redmine, and I am looking for step by step instructions on how to get this to work.
I'm looking for an easy way of doing this, maybe there's a script I can run...
I'm shocked that it has taken me this long to not have a working project server.

What protocol are you trying to access the repository over (file://, http://, https://, svn+ssh://, …)? If it's https: do you use a self-signed certificate?

Hello,
With the last post, I changed the svn to http, and it now works.
Thanks for the hint!

Also, prior to this, I tried to get the redmine to work using https.
I did all of that fun stuff where I accepted the certificate and all that.
