The book: Mastering Redmine

Added by Andriy Lesyuk about 11 years ago

Hello!

Just want to let the community know, that recently Packt Publishing published my book titled "Mastering Redmine". You can find more details about the book as well as a sample chapter on the Packt's official book page.

Packt Publishing is well known due to its open source initiative. This initiative also supposes paying royalties to the reviewed project, which is Redmine, in this case. So, buying this book you also donate to Redmine.

You can learn more about me as the author of the book (and about plugins, which I wrote for Redmine) on my projects page (which, by the way, runs Redmine too).

P.S. I'm happy to be a part of the Redmine community!

Thanks,
Andriy Lesyuk

Neat! The existence of books lends a lot of credibility to a product. Thanks for doing this!

I just wanted to chime in and say that this is an excellent book - I have read it and reviewed it (http://tosbourn.com/2013/03/productivity/review-mastering-redmine/).

I think it is a must read for someone coming into Redmine from scratch.

Hi All,

Apologies for bringing an old thread back to life.
I was just wondering how relevant this book is now?
I.e. what version does it target? Will it still be a good read?

Thanks

P.S.
and thanks to the author for the effort, I'll buy it anyway

Thank you, Wayne!

The very relevant second edition is going to be published soon. It targets Redmine 3.2.

So, please wait a little for the second edition.
