Full Repository of Directory download

Hi,
I have enabled Repository access (Read access only to Subversion Repositories) on our Redmine Server.

Unfortunately it seems, that user cannot download complete Repository or folder with Redmine frontend.

This would be very necessary for our customers. They do not have experience to access Subversion directely (e.g with TortoiseSVN)

I searched already for solution, I found Feature issue : http://www.redmine.org/issues/2870
and a plugin, which would solve this issue, but is not compatible to our Redmine Version 2.3.x

Has anybody a solution for this problem?

It's better to show your customers how to work with SVN.
Or you may checkout repository by yourself and send archive to them:)

there are several problems to grant access to the Subversion Server directely.
- Security issues: I need to allow access to our Subversion Server from Internet
- Routing and port issues: Redmine and Subversion are different servers. We need to do NAT routing, so the standard port 80 for SVN cannot be used
- Support to customers for usage of SVN
- double handling of accounts and user priviledges. we would need to manage user accounts for Redmine and Subversion

For such cases we provide VPN access for our customers.
Once they got VPN they are able to open both Redmine and SVN.
If your SVN controlled by Redmine then you don't need to manage Subversion Server directly, just grant user to redmine's project.
