Is it possible to hide the spent time and revisions for specific roles?

Added by Jessica Kollmorgen 2 months ago

Hi everybody,

I'm pretty new to Redmine and did not find a matching result in help/search platforms. So here's my question:

In case of B2C, is there any possibility to hide the revisions and spent (as well as the estimated) time from some users with specific roles?
f.i.: One of the customers joins the project just for adding tickets. For sure there is no need to make all revisions/estimations... available for him.

I appreciate every answer!

Best regards

PS: Please be gentle if this is the wrong forum.

Hi Jessica,

as far as I know, there is no option to hide specific fields in an issue.
I think it would be a sane approach to collect customer related issues in a separate (sub)project.
You can create a subtask of the customers issue in another project the customer has no access to.
In this case the subtask is invisible to the customer and can be handled like all your other issues.
