Filter values not always appearing in Redmine 5.1.2?

Hi there,

I just updated to Redmine 5.1.2 and I noticed that the filter value popup isn’t appearing. For instance, if I choose “Target Version,” the popup that shows the available versions is missing. And “Tracker” doesn’t show a popup allowing me to choose from “Bug,” “Feature, or “Support.” And so on.

This isn’t true for all filters though. For instance, “Author” shows a popup with the correct filter values.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going wrong? It’s really useful for us to create saved queries for open bugs in a particular Target Version, and this makes it impossible.

A similar issue was reported few months ago, please take a look at #39743.

If you don't find a solution in that issue, please add more info about your environment from Administration -> Information.

Thanks for this! I just discovered that I incorrectly copied over the public folder from my previous Redmine installation, and that was the issue. I think that was in the guide I found online (for upgrading a Redmine instance on Ubuntu), but I can’t locate it again.
