Sharing issues across projects and sub-projects

Added by Aisling Vasey almost 15 years ago

Hi

Redmine version: 0.8.2

I would like to create an issue in a (parent) project and then use that issue in a sub-project in the Related Issues section to precede the sub-project's child issue.

But I get the following error: « Related issue » doesn't belong to the same project.

Is sharing of issues across parent and sub/children projects not possible? Is there any way to enable this behavior?

Thanks
Aisling

Hi,

You should enable "Allow cross-project issue relations" in administration panel (Administration -> Settings -> Issue tracking).
