redmine down my external ldap

Hi all, I have a problem with my external LDAP authentication server Redmine. We have integrated SVN and office are about 40 people. They get so many requests to external LDAP server that becomes saturated and fall. As I can stop whenever you do a commit or any transaction with the svn make a request to the LDAP?. I tried to put off SVNPathAuthz policy for authentication is performed only in the root directory. But nothing has changed, there are still many accesses to ldap for each operation with the repository. I have not yet clear whether this is due to the configuration file itself redmine or Subversion configuration. Someone who can help me, thank you very much in advance.
