Change layout upgrade save ?

Hello and thanks for this great application !

I´m able to change the layout directly in the source-code, i.e. base.rhtml to change some styles.
But is there a way, to do this "upgrade save" ? That means, when there is a new version, i have to change everywhere the files.
Is there a possibility to to it like the theme handling ?

You can create a plugin and override the layout and views there. See #2179 for a discussion about this and a sample plugin I wrote for it.
