How can I make a custom field become hidden when an issue is closed

How can I make a custom field become hidden when an issue is closed. When I go to Administration->Workflow and select field permissions it gives me the options read only and required.

To hide a custom field when an issue is in a "Closed" status, you need to use workflow properties. Go to your system's workflow administration, edit the relevant workflow, select the "Closed" status, navigate to its "Properties," and then add a property with the key `jira.permission.field.hide` and the custom field's ID as its value. https://www.peryourhealth.it.com
