Improving Collaboration in Redmine with “Letter Boxed” Style Project Updates
Added by Hellen charless about 5 hours ago
Hello everyone
I’ve been experimenting with a different way of presenting project updates inside Redmine, inspired by a “letter boxed” layout approach basically structuring updates so that important information stays visually focused and easy to scan.
Instead of long issue descriptions, I started formatting updates into small boxed sections like:
Summary
Current Progress
Blockers
Next Steps
This has helped our team quickly understand project status without opening multiple issues or reading large text blocks.
I’m curious:
Has anyone tried structured or boxed formatting for issue updates or wiki pages?
Are there plugins or themes that improve visual readability for discussions or reports?
Any best practices for keeping communication concise inside Redmine?
Would love to hear how others keep their boards clean and easy to follow.
Thanks!
