Redmine

Hello everyone,

We run RedminePRO, a Managed Redmine Hosting and SaaS service, since 2019, and wanted to introduce it here as the community page suggests.

What it is: Redmine kept current and fully managed, with full administrator access on every plan, so you configure trackers, workflows, roles and custom fields yourself.

Capabilities built on top of core Redmine, all working with Redmine's own permissions and data:

• Zaira AI: ask questions of your workspace and draft issues with AI, using your own provider account (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint including Ollama on your own server). Nothing stored, per-project opt-in.
• MCP: your workspace becomes an MCP server, so Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client works on issues as a real person with that person's permissions. OAuth or API key, read-only mode available.
• Reports: save a report built from Redmine's own filters and columns, re-run it any time, export or email it as PDF, Excel or CSV, on a schedule if you like.
• Project Templates: start a project from a template that brings its structure, starter issues, members and configuration with it.
• Workflow Designer: edit status transitions as a flow chart instead of the checkbox grid, over exactly the same rules.
• Auto Assign: assign an issue automatically when it reaches a status, with rules per project or shared rule sets.
• Time Tracker: a per-ticket start/stop timer that logs into Redmine's own spent time, plus a timesheet with CSV/PDF export.
• Audit Trail: an append-only record of deletions, administration changes, security events and bulk edits, with alerts and retention.
• Resources: see who is over-committed before the sprint starts, from assigned work, estimates and recorded leave.
• My Dashboard: a personal dashboard of your open work, workload and logged time, with widgets you arrange yourself.
• Daily Digest: one email a day per person covering overdue, due and newly assigned work, at an hour they choose.
• Quick Edit: click a field on an issue and edit it in place, with the same permissions, workflow rules and history as the full form.
• Checklists: sectioned checklists on every issue, with templates, per-item assignees and due dates.
• Preview: attachments open in a popup, images, PDFs and text, without downloading first.
• Banner: a scheduled notice across the workspace or one project, styled by severity.
• Agile: Kanban or Scrum board over your issues, with sprints, WIP limits, story points and flow charts.
• Gantt: an editable Gantt replacing the built-in one, with dependencies, critical path, baselines and a cross-project view.
• Statistics: lifecycle, effort, workload and health charts, per project or across all of them.
• GitHub: link commits and track pull requests on your issues, through a GitHub App you own.
• Google and Microsoft Sign-In: sign in with your Google or Microsoft work account, with optional domain restriction.
• User Admin and Visibility Role: delegate user management without full admin rights, and keep people's access to issues they worked on.

Migration: we move existing self-hosted Redmine installations for you, including projects, issues, full history, attachments and users, validated before cutover. Jira migration is available too.
