Redmine

Hi everyone. I make Turndesk, a desktop app for Redmine on macOS and Windows, with a menu-bar companion, Turndesk Tray.

I built it because I kept missing replies on tickets and reloading the web UI to see whether anything was waiting for me. Turndesk shows the tickets where it's your move and notifies you when that changes. You can reply, update tickets and log time without opening Redmine in the browser, and it helps fill in your time entries.

Things to know before trying:

• Redmine 5.0 or newer with the REST API enabled. You connect with your personal API key.
• The app talks to your Redmine directly from your computer. There is no Turndesk server in between and no telemetry.
• It renders descriptions and comments as Markdown, so on a Redmine set to Textile some formatting will look off.
• It also works with Easy8 (formerly Easy Redmine).
