what does this error mean?

I got a ERROR :
ASSERTION ERROR: cycle 17027, FUNCP: Regstate: Expected oldest token!
ERROR: Fatal FPGA assertion failure.
MESSAGE: FUNCP: Regstate: Expected oldest token!
Model exited with status 1
what does this error mean? and what is the cause of this error?
