Hiding issues by status

Added by Bastien Durel almost 14 years ago

Hello,

I'm using redmine for some web projects, and I'm trying to let people post "hidden" issues, for security flaws.
We don't want people to post flaws publicy, as other users (everyone may register) could read reports and exploit it.

I've designed a special workflow with `Vunlerability` as first status, but I can't figure how to deny display for non-developers users. Is it possible ?

Is there another way to achieve this ?

Thanks,

Bastien

No. Your best options are to either take the anonymous and not-member users the ability to view tickets, thus only project members can see tickets (or any other combination using the "create ticket" and "view tickets" privileges), or (and that might be more feasible) create a private project for security vulnerabilities to witch you can (manually) move the vulnerabilities, or even better create a mail address that will forward its mails to said private project in redmine.
