IMAP Help

New to ruby and redmine. Trying to get installation to read incoming emails from IMAP but all the pages I have found so far have been little help.

I'm using 0.7.3 and have tried to work through the ideas from both theses pages as well as a couple others but am apparently an idiot.

I know the email account and IMAP access works but would really appreciate some help that my 4 year old could follow.
