How to completely uninstall cmi plugin
Added by cecep suryana over 13 years ago
i just upgraded redmine to 1.1.0 to get rid cmi plugin
when i start redmine with no additional plugin, the cmi plugin is still there because i can still see some option with spanish language. i think the problem is related with rake, because when install cmi i run this command.
rake cmi:create_data rake cmi:load_role_costs_history rake cmi:load_user_role_history rake cmi:recalculate_costs
sadly i dont have any idea how to use rake.

i know. this plugin is so promising, so i just try it on redmine 1.0.4. my plan is to follow the problem that arise so i can learn redmine more internally. but this plan is never work on me.
this problem is resolved by editing the database manually.

It is bad when the authors cannot provide simple efforts to provide good instructions or ask people to test.
This is common with many OSS software, but maybe it will help more people to learn ruby and rails.
Two of the most promising plugins (cmi and contacts) are impossible for normal users to install and get working.

You can get rid of those fields from
redmine->administration->custom fields
and deleting them all
