How to Set up Email on Exchange online 2010

Hi,

I'm having trouble connecting Redmine to our new exchange online 2010 server. Does anyone know the settings I need to use so I can send emails from Redmine?
I have a user account set up for Redmine so I have the username and password but I keep getting the same message when I enter what I think are the correct settings.
I know that exchange online 2010 requires ssl so it could be a problem there but I thought I had set up ssl but I must be wrong so any info on setting up ssl would also be appreciated!

my version of redmine is v1.1.0
(thats what it says in the changelog file anyway)

my version of ruby is 1.8.7

I'm having the same problem. I believe it must be some kind of configuration on the receive connector in exchange, like its requiring some different kind of encrypted authentication than what redmine must be trying to use.

Has anyone found a solution for this yet?
