Project Overview takes too long to load

Hello,
I currently have an issue with the Project Overview taking extremely long to load (sometimes 20+ seconds).
Production Log:
Rendering template within layouts/base
Rendering projects/show
Completed in 17859ms (View: 17797, DB: 47) | 200 OK
Monitoring the MySQL database backend, I am guessing the time is spent gathering information for the time tracking related details displayed in the right sidebar.
There are about 4000+ tickets in the project all with time tracking information logged.
Can anyone confirm my guess may be correct?
Is there any workaround for this?
