New Statuses not Displaying for Issues

All,
We are running Redmine 1.2.1 and needed to add a couple of new issue status types. I have added a 'Pending Approval' and 'Awaiting User Info' Issue Statuses under Administration, however, these new statuses are not displaying under the Project / Issue / Status drop-down menu. Only the precanned ones are. Am I missing a step?

Hello Jes,

have a look in the faq. You have to add the new status to a workflow. Also if you are admin you have to add admin to project with a specific role.
