Directory Listing problem on CentOS 5

Hello All,
I am trying to install redmine 1.2.1 on CentOS 5. I get two problems
1.
When I don't have .htaccess under public directory then I get directory listing instead of login page.

2. When I enable .htaccess under public directory, i get the following error :
/usr/bin/env: ruby: No such file or directory

And at the same time, Rails application failed to start error on the browser.

Solved.

Some problem related to gem versions. and changed owner or dispatch.cgi to apache from root.
