Possible to change issue note order or to insert a note?

Is it possible to insert an issue note or to somehow change the note order? Alternatively, is it possible to edit the note date and have the notes appear in date order?

I am trying to migrate some projects to redmine (v1.3.0). This involves consolidating a lot of todo/discussion emails, notes, etc. into redmine. This has been very slow going because, in part, I have not found a way to insert an issue note or otherwise order the issue notes.

Without this ability I have to gather all the related emails, notes, existing issues, etc. and carefully add notes in "original" order. This is very tedious. And, inevitably, I find pieces later that need to be inserted in the proper order.

In addition, this ability would make it much easier to "merge" issues.

Any help or alternative suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am now running redmine v 2.2.3.

I would still very much like to find a way to reorder issue notes.

Could anyone please let me know if this is now possible and/or give me some guidance as to what I might need to change to make this possible?
