Using 'Log Time' functionality after 5pm counts towards NEXT day's hour totals

Hi All.
I often work late, and found that any time I use the 'Log Time' option after 5pm, those hours are counted towards/grouped with hours from the following day.
For example, yesterday (4/29/2012) I Logged 2 hours at around 7pm.
When I click Activity -> Spent Time it shows "4/30/2012 -> 7:00pm - 2 hours"
This behavior is consistent throughout the Spent Time view -- any time logged after 5pm on a given day is grouped with hours from the following day.
- Is this 5pm cutoff time configurable?
- How can I change it to some later time?
