Sudden 503 service temporarily unavailable

I installed the BitNami Redmine stack 2.0.1 on Windows Server 2008. Everything was working fine but after few minutes of browsing the Redmine site, I suddenly get a "503 service temporarily unavailable error".

I have to restart the "thin_redmine2" service manually using the BitNami manager tool in order to solve this but the behavior returns.

In the Redmine production.log I can see the message "Lost connection to MySQL server during query ..." around the time of the error.

Any clue?

same thing here. it's a nightmare!! Please somebody answer!
Just before the crash, Redmine asks for a login. After that -> crash

Same Issue here with Redmine Stack 2.0.3 on Windows Server 2008 32 Bits.

Please help.

Does MySQL's logs show any errors?

It sounds to be specifically a Bitnami issue.
