Redmine

I just installed redmine, by the way good job to Jérémy considering it is a rails app it was relatively easy to install with his apt package.

The issue is, I feel a bit uncomfortable running the up as root, and was wondering if chown'ing the whole /usr/share/redmine folder to www-data, or a dedicated redmine user would be okay to do?
I realize, I would have to redo that after every upgrade but are there any other consequences?
