Redmine 1 or 2?

New to Redmine. Just installed Ruby and the like on my Centos 5.8 machine.

Any recommendations on which one to install?

2.0.3 (2012-06-18)
1.4.4 (2012-06-18)

Go with 2.x.
If I understand correctly, the difference is that 1.x uses a deprecated Rails version (don't know which, 2.x I IIRC), while redmine 2.x uses rails 3.x...
