Alias in Email
Added by Servio Zambrano over 12 years ago
Greetings community. I want to comment that redmine is a fabulous tool, a few hours installing version 2.1.0 on ubuntu 12.04, everything is going well.
But I have a little problem. I can send mail to my users by offering redmine different reasons. the problem is that when the user gets her mail in your inbox, it goes over the e-mail thing. and I do not like, want an alias more thing.
This is how you get to the users:
xxx@gmail.com - Hello Mon
and I want them to come with an alias, that is so:
Warning system - Hello Mon
Here is my email settings:
production:
email_delivery:
delivery_method: :smtp
smtp_settings:
enable_starttls_auto: true
address: "smtp.gmail.com"
port: '587'
domain: "smtp.gmail.com"
authentication: :plain
user_name: "xxxx@gmail.com"
password: "xxxx"
Thanks :)

That would be something you setup in either your gmail account or in servers settings...
