Redmine

Hello,

Right now we are usign redmine 2.3.3
We decided to upgrade our version to 2.3.4
We are using redmine on the top of apache so our installation completed via direct archive installation before.

What i want to learn is;

- Is it safe to apply http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/RedmineUpgrade recommendations ?
- We are going to symlink our html folder to redmine-2.3.4 folder, move our files/plugins, configuration files and then start migrate procedures ?

Also what is the upgrade path from 2.3.4/2.3.3 to 2.4.1 ?
Are there any dealbreaking issues in the upgrade path ?
