Upgraded to 2.5.2 - now login window does not show up by - and no Stay logged in
Added by CM Gui over 9 years ago
Hi All
We just upgraded Redmine from 2.4.2 to 2.5.2.
Now the Redmine front page does not show the login window. That is, now we have to click on the Sign in link on the top right corner to make this login window appear.
In 2.4.2, when we go to our Redmine site, the login window would appear by default.
Is this by design in 2.5.2? Can we make the login window appear by default, i.e., without the user having to click the Sign in link.
I suppose it is just a redirect from www.site.com to www.site.com/login.php in the home page?
Also, there is no Stay logged in check box in the login anymore. How to bring this back?
Thank you
CM Gui

Okay, figured it out.
Apparently, the admin settings weren't preserved during the upgrade.
Had to select Authentication Required for login window to appear by default.
And enable Autologin for Stay logged in to appear.
