Need to filter on specific entry within a Column Heading

We are using Redmine as a Customer Trouble Report tracking tool and have created a number of custom fields that are important to the issues our customers experience. For example, we always need to know what the firmware version a customer is running as well as the "Target" firmware version we expect to fix the problem in.
The "Target Firmware" version might be numeric such as 5.18, 5.19, 5.19_custom, etc. We want to be able to use this "Target Firmware" version which is a column heading and then filter on a specific numeric version such as 5.19.
The result of this filtering is that the user gets to see only those issues with a "Target Firmware" version = 5.19. They don't want to sort and view the entire column, just display those entries for version 5.19 and not display any other entries. I've struggled to find a way to do this but have come up empty.
