Can I donwgrade from 3.0 to 2.6.x

I upgraded from 2.6.2 to 3.0 several weeks ago.
I want to go back to 2.6.x for a plugin now.
Could anyone tell me it is possible and how?
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I think that there are some changes in the database between 3.0 and 2.6.x that cannot be undone. (you can try doing it manually)
For example source:trunk/db/migrate/20150208105930_replace_move_issues_permission.rb .

In my opinion cannot be done unless you can change the database to match 2.6.x .
