still can not send mail after reset the async_smtp

Dears
Cause it's waste too much time while update a task, so I change the mail delivery_method to async_smtp.
After that it do faster, but I can not receive the notification mail.
Btw, I tried to sent a test mail in the managerment setting, it showes success to sent, but I can not receive it.
I have search in Internet, unforturnately failed to solve it.
Hope you can help me!
