display only project, not the subproject in the project home page

Hello,
in my organization, we have more than 100 sub(sub)project embedded in 5 main projects.
I would like to limit the amount of project displayed by showing only the first level (= the 5 mains one) or the two first level (5 main + sub project) to limit to an acceptable amount of data displayed on the page "projects".
Is it possible ?
