Hi!
I have a task that I set up as a subtask in a 'Story', but as it turns out it should not have been part of that story. It should be simply under the top level issue. However, when I try to change the Parent Issue, I get a message that the Parent Task is invalid.

I have encountered this before, and by trying a whole lot of ideas (including changing tracker for both the task and the subtask) it seems like the problem is that I can't move this task to a Parent Task that is at a higher level. I can only move to another place where it will remain a subtask. According to what I have read in the documentation, I think it should be possible to do this.

Is anyone aware of a setting that may be blocking me from elevating this subtask to a higher level task?
