Upgrade REDMINE on VM ORACLE VirtualBox. From 2.3.xxx to latest

I am running REDMINE on ORACLE VM VirtualBox am I am looking for a "Step by step" instruction to upgrade my REDMINE.
Using UBUNTU 12 on a Windows 7 Environment.
Are you able to present me a link to a page where a step by step instruction is located. I am a very extensive REDMINE User. Using to control tickets as part of my Project Management.
