Hacker...HELP!

Hi, I need help urgently. At my workplace we kept a lot of information in redmine about projects we were developing and today suddently we got a message from a hacker asking us for money to recover our information....we tried opening redmine and we noticed that they stole it all. I was hoping to know if redmine kept a copy of our projects by any chance and we could use that to restore our projects. Any information is welcome!

Unfortunately Redmine itself doesn't create backups of its stored data. If you have no current backup of your database and files you are screwed, I'm afraid.
