Redmine

So I finally got RoR, Redmine, and git all playing together nicely on Windows. Everything is working wonderfully except for one last issue.

I'm running git through cygwin and as such have the repo for my project integrated into Redmine. Every time I do anything with the repo tab, this includes clicking on the tab (this is the worst), expand a branch, compare a diff, and so on, I get a spam of command prompt windows on my screen appearing and disappearing quickly and it is very annoying.

Is there anyway to stop it from doing this like have it run the command prompt in the background or something? Every click especially the initial click on the tab it spams the screen for a good 5 seconds.
