Description
Hi there,
I'm currently trying to integrate some Kerberos (5) Authentication in Redmine (for Use in Windows-Enviroment).
I've found many plugins which try to achive this in many different ways. Some very static, some with configuration. But nearly all which apply changes directly to the redmine core.
Maybe, those authentication could be directly included to redmine?
This is often requested in business enviroments, which would help to improve redmines business integration capability.

This plugin is new in 2016, and says it supports Kerboros: maybe worth checking to see how 'deep' or 'shallow' in the core this one goes:

I've no hands-on experience of it myself.
