The Trac Formatter plugin provides a new text formatting option, and when selected, allows you to use Trac wiki markup in throughout Redmine. This significantly eases the upgrade/migration path from Trac to Redmine. Rather than using the built-in wiki conversion process, you should be able to directly migrate your wiki text without re-formatting it and your users can use their familiar Trac markup in your new Redmine instance.
Installation notes
Unzip it into your plugins directory and then choose "Trac" formatting in the administration settings of Redmine.
